here is an overview of what we catch and when.
Hatteras, NC January - July |
Virginia Beach, VA July - February |
| January thru June During the months of January through March the main target will be Giant Bluefin Tuna. Yellowfin Tuna as well as King Mackeral are always a possibility |
July-February Excellent tuna fishing as well as Marlin, mostly whites some Blue ones. This is also Tournament Time! These months are the the time of year when we fish the big tournaments in and near Ocean City. Please inquiry about fishing with us for a tournament. |
| April In April, Yellowfin Tuna take center stage. These are great fighting fish with top speeds up to 70 miles per hour. They're also great to eat. |
September-November Continued excellent tuna fishing as well as some other interesting offshore fish thrown in for good measure. This is really a good time for an over night chunking trip. We really slam the tuna on these over night chunking trips. |
| May Marlin and dolphin begin to show up in May as the water temperatures start to rise. The fishing in May largely depends upon the water temps. If the temperatures stay cool the yellowfins stay around longer but when the temps begin to rise the Marlins and Dolphin begin to appear. |

| June-July June and July are big months for Dolphin, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, and a few Yellowfin Tuna. |
