Charter Pricing: We know
the economy is tough everywhere so we
make every effort to keep our rates at
rock bottom pricing that our customers
can afford. We do not publish our rates
if they may be effected by the current
fluctuation of fuel prices. Please call
us to discuss the dates and type of
charter you are interested in and we
will quote you the best possible rate at
that time.
Deposit: A 30% deposit is
required to reserve and hold specific
dates. The balance of the charter
payment is due at the dock before trip
departure.
Scheduling Dates: It is our
suggestion that customers always try and
schedule weekday trips whenever
possible. The reason is because if your trip is
going to be canceled due to weather or
water conditions, we will be able to
reschedule your trip soon after your
missed date. Another thing to consider
is that less fishing pressure during the
week usually
means more room and better success.
Weather Cancellations:
Yes,
it happens. We want your charter to be
as safe as possible. Any weather
cancellations are the captains call.
Even if you believe that your charter
might be cancelled please show up at
your appointed time unless you hear from
the captain beforehand. Often the
weather is much better on the ocean
where it is influenced by the warm
waters of the Gulf Stream. If it is
necessary to cancel a charter, the
captain will discuss that with you
before departure and you will have your
choice of rescheduling or receiving a
full refund of your deposit. If no
one shows and the charter could have
been run we cannot return your deposit
due to the expenses involved in not
being able to run the trip.
Departure Times:
The captain will discuss departure times
when you are scheduling your charter. We
try to take into account prime fishing
times as well as flexibility to suit our
customer's needs.
Tipping:
The mate is the hardest working person
on the boat. He is doing everything
possible to make your fishing trip both
comfortable and successful. Our mates
are paid by your tips so it is customary
on the East Coast to tip your mate
between 15% and 20% if he has done a
good job for you.
