is a spectacular 57 foot Carolina built
fishing machine that roams the fishing waters
off Rudee Inlet, Virginia Beach Fishing Center
(July - March) and also prowls the renowned
fertile offshore
fishing grounds around Cape Hatteras, North
Carolina (April - June). In order to have a truly top quality
fishing charter, it requires an experienced captain,
a world class boat, and access to the most
outstanding sportfishing waters in the world.

Our Local Waters:
The fishing waters off the east coastline of the
US offer countless sportfishing fishing
opportunities. The warm currents of the Atlantic
Gulf Stream circulate northward running close to
Hatteras, NC. Also, the Labrador Currents run
south along the East Coast. Each of these two
major ocean currents work like highways which
can influence fish migration and feeding.
Virginia Beach Fishing:
Virginia Beach Fishing Center has the
distinction of being located right on the
“mouth” of the Chesapeake Bay. Seasonally
several different species of game fish like
striped bass (rockfish), bluefish, spanish
mackerel, cobia, and flounder move in and out of
the Chesapeake sometimes stopping for long
periods of time in the areas around the Bridge
Tunnel to group and feed. The Instigator can
also offer anglers a direct shot offshore out of
Virginia Beach to take advantage of fishing for
pelagic exotic offshore species such as white
marlin, blue marlin, dolphin, yellowfin tuna,
bluefin tuna, and more.
Cape Hatteras Fishing: Instigator travels south (April-June) to
take advantage of some of the best offshore
fishing opportunities in the world. The close
proximity of the Atlantic Gulf Stream to Cape
Hatteras Inlet means that species like dolphin,
wahoo, yellowfin tuna, blue marlin, white
marlin, sailfish, bluefin tuna, and various
sharks are always nearby. Many fishing
tournaments are held in this area during this
period and Instigator has a incredible
tournament record of taking home the cash!
